120 Gallon Aquarium Stand Plans






Ok so i scoured the internet for research on my diy 120 gallon aquarium stand and i did not find much to go by. a couple years ago i did a 40 breeder stand and it turned out really well and the thread was very popular so i will post this one for others to follow along.. How to build a stand for a 4' 120 gallon aquarium.. The below stand is one that i built for a four foot long 120 gallon aquarium. as i wanted to use a 4 foot long 55 gallon aquarium for the sump, i had to make the stand a few inches longer than four feet. that is why when you look at the below picture of the frame, it will look like it was double framed at both ends..

Basic aquarium stand this is a basic design for an aquarium stand that i have built twice, once for a 55 gallon, and once for a 120 gallon. the design could be modified for virtually any glass tank in the 55 to 180 or so gallon range by simply adjusting the length and width.. Just as the title says, this is my stand build. cost me less then $200, im very happy with the results. any questions comments or anything else let me know.. 30 gallon fish tank stand. you will be bowled over by this dapper aquarium holder made of dimensional lumber and plywood. this aquarium stand design befits 55 as well as 120-gallon aquarium tanks. 30-180 gallon tanks could be planned by tweaking the plan a little..
